Courtesy Pay helps protect you against having your checks returned in the event of an inadvertent overdraft of your account by giving you a reserve for emergencies or unexpected situations. There is no fee for having this privilege on your account, you are only charged if you overdraw your account.
The following transactions will be covered under Courtesy Pay Overdraft:
- ACH debits and withdrawals
- ATM withdrawals and/or Point-of-Sale transactions
- Service or check charges
- Pre-authorized internal debits
- Checks issued to a third party
Things to Remember about Courtesy Pay

Every debit item on an overdrawn account will be charged an NSF fee of $35.00 (to include check, ACH, ATM, debit card, or POS).
- You must promptly repay the amount of the overdraft and the overdraft fee.

You must bring your account to a positive balance at least once every 15 days.
Courtesy Pay Terms and Conditions
All members over the age of 18 years are eligible for Courtesy Pay Overdraft as long as their account remains in good standing. Good standing is defined as:

making regular deposits and bringing their account to a positive balance at least once every 15 days;

not being more than 10 days past due on a loan with MCTFCU;

not having caused a loss to MCTFCU and not subject to any legal or administrative order or levy.
Accounts must be in good standing to be eligible for the Courtesy Pay Overdraft program. All existing share draft accounts and /or accounts that have been opened for a minimum of 90 days may automatically be eligible for the Courtesy Pay Overdraft program. Members are subject to a maximum overdraft limit, including overdraft fees, of ($400.00). Primary and/or joint owners may request and/or remove their account(s) from the Courtesy pay Overdraft program at any time.
